The building itself is a turn-of-the-century structure and is one of the oldest and most uniquely designed in the neighbourhood, a "Bridgman"-style industrial building featuring clerestory windows. This is a design typically found in Gothic churches, and an architectural trick that allows for lots of angled natural light to come in the interior space. Currently a mixed use residential-recreation building space, there are only a number of shared/owned flats inside, plus a popular rock climbing facility on the ground floor (that's also a great team building activity!).

The suite opens up atop a private staircase and entrance where you can see the open workspace area nestled next to the full private kitchenette. Original hardwood floors, and corrugated ceilings with exposed steel bones mark the building's industrial vibe - it is one of the first structures in the area with steel truss roof construction, an advanced industrial design for its time.

A private room next to the washroom can double (or triple) as a meeting room, relaxation or video game room, as it is also equipped with a couch and large wall-mounted TV.
